We are now looking for a Test Engineer to be part of a specialized team focused on GPU feature integration, CI, and system-level testing in 5G base stations. Your work will directly influence the performance and reliability of Nokia's 5G network infrastructure, ensuring seamless user experience for millions of end-users. This role is open to recent graduates eager to learn, as well as professionals with a few years of relevant experience. Responsibilities will be adjusted based on experience.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Integrate and test GPU-accelerated embedded software for 5G base stations, with a focus on Layer 1 functionality.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and methodologies for 5G base stations equipped with NVIDIA GPUs, and automate test cases as per test plans to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Integrate and maintain Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), DPU, and other Cloud Infrastructure components in the 5G E2E system.
- Document and report test results, identify and troubleshoot issues during the integration and testing process and contribute to the creation of technical documentation.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in GPU technology, 5G systems, and RL1 technology area to incorporate best practices and innovative solutions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must-have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in software testing, with a solid focus on cloud-native platforms, container orchestration, and AI-driven solutions.

In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.

Familiarity with OCP operators, Helm charts, and Kubernetes API management is desirable.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with testing tools like Robot Framework.
- Hands-on experience with GPU programming and CUDA development.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory HW work.
