Nokia's Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis Digitalization team is seeking for an AI Engineer trainee to drive innovation and development in the field of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Our FPRA Digitalization team is accountable of creating and delivering digital reporting and analytics solutions for Nokia business and finance community. In this position you will contribute to designing, developing and deploying advanced AI solutions using large language models to enhance digital transformation initiatives within Nokia. We are looking for candidates with a technical background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for exploring cutting-edge AI technologies.
- Duration: 6 months / Flexible
- Target start date: Summer 2026 / Flexible
- Educational recommendations: Current BSc or MSc students in relevant areas, such as mathematics, statistics, information systems or computer science etc.
- Location: Espoo, Finland
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Contributing to developing advanced AI solutions using large language models to enhance digital transformation initiatives within Nokia
- Working on web-based AI applications using modern frameworks such as React and Next.js
- Data storing, retrieval and management by using database technologies, like PostgreSQL
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Current BSc or MSc studies in relevant areas, such as mathematics, statistics, information systems or computer science etc.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in full-stack development using frameworks like React and Next.js
- Proficiency in Python
- Some experience in Natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs)

Kindly note that to be able to work as a trainee at Nokia Finland, you must hold an active student status and be located in Finland since international relocation support is not available for trainee positions.
