For our technology industry customer focused on logistics solutions we are now urgently looking for a TEST ENGINEER to Järvenpää. The Test Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end testing of automated guided vehicles and related digital tools. The role involves ensuring that the automated vehicle performs the defined functions and sequences as intended by utilizing configuration software designed in-house. The role includes testing new functionalities in close collaboration with local developers and experts from other teams, some of whom work at different locations. The testing process ensures the integration and functionality of software and features developed by different teams within a practical testing environment using a test vehicle.
In addition, the Test Engineer is responsible for test planning, practical execution, and documentation. Part of the role involves improving the efficiency of manual testing by analyzing testing phases and developing testing practices, for example by automating repetitive or time-consuming tasks. Testing activities include defining test cases, executing tests, and documenting test results and observations according to agreed practices.
The Test Engineer is also responsible for ensuring and maintaining the operational condition of the test vehicle. The work includes monitoring the daily operational reliability of the test vehicle, maintenance-related tasks, and troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues. Tasks may include verifying electrical connections, debugging software, and collecting and analyzing log files. When necessary, problem-solving is carried out in cooperation with developers, electrical designers, and other specialists.
On-site work requirement at least 3 days weekly. You can also be a freelance entrepreneur part of our delivery network.
We expect of you:
- relevant M.Sc./B.Sc.engineering degree.
- at least 1 year of experience in manual testing, system deployments, or maintenance of prototypes/test equipment.
- good skills communicating fluently both by speaking and writing in English.
- and of course, the ability to work both independently and as team member on simultaneous projects under the occasional time-pressure.
