About the role
Marioff is looking for a Field Solution Engineer for Marioff global land business solution support team. The role is to support both Marioff subsidiaries and international distributors with HI-FOG system install, commissioning and service support both onsite and remotely. The position will also participate in developing the global pool of service engineers, processes, and tools.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting remotely to global pool of field engineers
- Provide inspection, service support and commissioning in-person at customer sites
- Guide Marioff field engineers on-site and remote
- Develop solution support processes and documentation
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Technician (vocational) / BSc. level education in electrical engineering or control systems
- Minimum 3 years of field service experience
- Understanding of mechanical systems
- Fluency in English, both written & spoken (day to day language is English)
- Ability to translate technical documentation to instructions for field actions for example from electrical drawings.
- Be comfortable in an international business environment and have good team working skills.
- Customer oriented attitude and ability to share knowledge and train others.
- Willingness to travel internationally, reactively and planned. (approximately 1 week/month)
Not necessary, but considered as an advantage:
- Experience in applying or servicing PLC based systems in the field
- Experience in servicing or installing mechanical system (e.g. hydraulics, building services, etc)
- Additional language knowledge (Arabic, German, Spanish or other European language)
