We are now looking for a
DATA PLATFORM ENGINEER
to work on our Data and Platform Engineering team in Vantaa, Finland.Working as a Data Platform Engineer, your job is to help Finnair's customer, commercial, and operational domains to utilize their data in a reliable, secure, and flexible manner. You would be an important member of a technical team that leads the infrastructure and tooling development of our Data Warehouse, Data Ingestion & Transformation Tools, Workflow Orchestration, Data Catalog, Analytics Tools, and Data Platform Architecture. You will also work together with data engineers on shared conventions and tools between different data domains.
Your work will help Finnair leverage its data in a standardized and secure manner. You will learn different aspects of our customer, commercial, and operational landscape. You will use your technical expertise and work together with the data and analytic engineering teams to create data standards, processes and tools that take Finnair's understanding and utilization of data by both people and AI to the next level.

From you, we wish:

Solid experience in data engineering or data platform development.

Experience in change management in a complex technical environment.

Interest in airline Industry.

Excellent communication skills and positive mindset to work in a social, friendly and international team.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Previous experience in at least some of our stack (see below).
