What you’ll do:
A key technical role supporting end customers and internal sales organizations across the EMEA region. Focuses on designing and presenting advanced UPS solutions, grid-support features and emerging technologies primarily for the datacenter market. Provides coaching and techincal guidance to colleagues and customers regarding UPS technologies and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced technical and commercial support to internal sales organizations and customers for UPS and grid-support solutions across the EMEA region
• Support sales offices and customers in defining technical solutions, including complex and customized applications
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into optimized technical solutions, including system design, quotations and technical documentation
• Design UPS and power infrastructure solutions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as R&D, Product Marketing and external partners
• Work in close contact and cooperation with key customers, consultants and contractors to understand application-specific needs
• Act as a technical expert and a host for customer visits, FATs, witness tests and product demonstrations
• Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues to elevate overall technical skills and product knowledge
• Represent Eaton as a technical advisor in customer meetings, industry trade shows and global events
• Serve as an ambassador for new products and technologies, promoting them to sales offices and customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related technical field
- 5-8 years of experience in Electrical and/or Electronic industry
Skills:
- Extensive experince in power electronics, 3-phase power systems and UPS architectures
- Comprehensive understanding of UPS technologies, systems and power infrastructures around them
- Ability to manage complex technical solutions and support sales initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proactive, self-driven, adaptable, Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, Customer-focused, Problem-solving skills, Technical leadership and mentoring mindset, Ability to handle client issues professionally in challenging circumstances
