What you will do
In this role, your objective is to design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and architectures that empower the organization to make data-driven decisions.
Your main tasks are:
- Translate business requirements into actionable data structures and technical specifications. Collaborate in requirements gathering, data architecture, and information architecture
- Design, create and maintain efficient, scalable, reusable and secure data assets to support business operations and analytics & AI development
- Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines for seamless integration and transformation of raw data into meaningful insights
- Continuously optimize data solutions for performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments
- Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Implement robust access control measures to safeguard data assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Information Architects, to ensure data usability
- Actively contribute to team culture, share best practices, and stay updated on emerging trends
Who you are
- You have 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in data modelling and the ability to design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models following best practices
- You have a solid understanding of modern data warehouse modelling techniques (e.g. Medallion architecture, Data Vault 2.0), and the ability to treat data as a product, ensuring its integrity and usability across the organization
- You have expertise in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt and Microsoft Azure, along with proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience working with REST API interfaces for integration
- You write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets industry standards and best practices. You understand the importance of documentation and ensure workflows are clearly documented for collaboration and future reference
- You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet organizational needs
- You have enthusiasm for continuous learning, experimentation, and professional growth
- You are fluent in English and appreciate working in a truly international environment. Other languages are considered beneficial
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering/Economics, Management Science or Mathematics
