We are now looking for a
SENIOR BUSINESS CONTROLLER, DEVELOPMENT
to join our Business Control team in Finance at our headquarters in Vantaa.
This is a new role fully dedicated to driving development across Business Control. As the first business controller fully focused on development, you will have a key role in shaping how we develop our Financial Planning & Analysis processes and ways of working across the organisation.
As a Senior Business Controller, you will:

Prioritize and steer the Business Control development portfolio together with the Director, Business Control, Development and Group Functions.

Independently drive and execute finance development initiatives, taking a hands‑on role in designing, piloting, and implementing improvements.

Lead and coordinate development activities across the Business Control organization, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and systematic progress in key initiatives.

Develop processes, tools, and methods for tracking and managing the progress of development initiatives.

Drive competence development and knowledge sharing within the Business Control team, strengthening capabilities and fostering a learning culture.

Coordinate the work of Assistant Business Controllers within your responsibility area, providing guidance, clarity and support in daily tasks and longer‑term development.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
-
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in finance development, business control, analytics, or consulting.

Experience in executing development projects.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial accounting principles, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows.

In-depth knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis processes, as well as financial IT systems.

Ability to work independently, lead and prioritize your own work, and demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for driving development.

Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
-
A degree in finance (M.Sc. (Econ), MBA or equivalent).

Fluent written and spoken English.

- Experience in people development.
- Experience with Anaplan.
- Experience in utilizing AI in the area of Financial Planning & Analysis.
In this role you will report to Director, Business Control, Development and Group Functions.
