We are now looking for a
ASSISTANT BUSINESS CONTROLLER, DEVELOPMENT
to join our Business Control team in Finance at our headquarters in Vantaa.
This is a new role dedicated to driving development across Business Control together with the team.
As an Assistant Business Controller, you will:

Play a hands‑on role in driving development initiatives within Business Control.

Analyze data to extract insights that support development initiatives, process improvement and reporting enhancement.

Develop and improve processes to enhance financial planning and forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
-
Contribute to the development of reporting practices, tools and ways of working.
-
Collaborate closely with the team to implement practical development improvements.
-
Although the role is development‑focused, it may also include typical Business Control responsibilities such as supporting financial forecasting and reporting, conducting analysis and financial modelling including business cases, and performing controls to ensure compliance with policies.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

A minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in finance and/or analytics.

Experience with MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.

Understanding of finance processes and IT systems.
-
Ability and willingness to dive deep into data and extract relevant insights.
-
Good presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
A business-oriented and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently.

A bachelor's or master's degree (Econ or equivalent).

Fluent written and spoken English.
