We are looking for a Product Sales Manager, Carbon capture with positive mindset and can-do attitude, to develop, sell and deliver carbon capture solutions, to join our Concept sales team in Environmental Solutions technology unit. In Valmet's Environmental Solutions business we develop, sell, and deliver technologies which help our customers accelerate circularity and manage their emissions efficiently. Our offering includes solutions for dry flue gas cleaning, wet flue gas cleaning, flue gas desulfurization, NOx reduction, heat recovery, flue gas conditioning and carbon capture solutions for example for power and energy production, pulp industries, wood panel-, mineral wool and other industries around the world. We provide solutions to our customers globally, with projects varying in size and scope.
Product Sales Manager, Carbon Capture is a new role at Valmet Environmental Solutions Technology function. This role can be based at any of our major locations.You will report to Manager, Concept Sales. You are responsible for developing Valmet's Carbon Capture offering, including Valmet's flue gas pre-treatment solutions, to establish solid sales pipeline. In this position you will collaborate closely with our partners for Carbon capture technologies and work together with the sales managers and other internal stakeholders to find, develop and offer suitable opportunities.
As the Product Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing the winning concept and ensure the customer understands and believes in it. Your responsibilities include product and process design and promotion, proposal coordination, presentations, and technical negotiations as well as commercial discussions. You will act as the link between our product team and the customer, ensuring smooth flow of information. You will prepare and be responsible of cost calculation in co-operation with internal stakeholders and suppliers. You will lead the sales team to prepare our technical documentation and commercial quotation.
What do we expect from you?We expect you to have a suitable educational background, preferably a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Energy and environmental-, chemical-, thermal- or process engineering. You should have knowledge and experience in carbon capture processes like pressure swing adsorption (PSA), temperature swing adsorption (TSA), amine scrubbing and hot potassium carbonate (HPC) technologies. It is advantage to have experience in plant level integration and process simulation competence, understanding of equipment used for flue gas and product gas compressing and off-gas decompressing.
It is beneficial if you understand power plant processes and flue gas cleaning technologies, and have experience in sales or project deliveries. Especially conducting Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) projects. Fluent English is required, and other languages such as Swedish or German are seen as an advantage. This position includes regular travelling around the world.

You understand customers' needs and know the possibilities of our offering inside out. To succeed in this position, you need to be capable of designing feasible concepts to several different customer requirements, preparing life-cycle-cost analysis, and discussing technical details of several different products. Your expertise extends to feasibility evaluation and how the new solution can be integrated into an existing operating application, for example existing power boiler with existing flue gas cleaning setup.

You will need great interpersonal and leadership skills to keep the sales team aligned and deliver timely and good quality quotations for our customers on time. You will lead the team towards a shared goal with clear deadlines and timely communication.
