We are looking for a motivated Business Controller to join our team in Espoo, Finland. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging product strategy with financial performance, ensuring the profitability and financial health of our innovative product portfolios. You will provide critical financial insights and support to our Product Management teams, driving informed decision-making throughout the product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and control activities, ensuring alignment with Nokia's strategic objectives and financial targets.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned product lines and portfolios.
- Profitability Management: Analyse product profitability, cost structures, and revenue streams, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Business Case Development: Support the creation and evaluation of financial business cases for new product introductions, feature enhancements, and strategic investments.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to Product Management and senior leadership.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control product-related expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying potential risks or deviations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, R&D, Sales, and other finance functions to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment on product strategies.
- Market Analysis: Contribute to market and competitive financial analysis to inform product pricing and investment decisions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, product finance, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the technology or telecommunications industry
- Solid financial modelling and analytical skills
- Proven knowledge on both R&D and Product Management Finance & Control
- Advanced experience in applying AI and advanced analytics in finance
- Proficiency in financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan)
- Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- People leadership experience over the last five years
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
- Solid business acumen and understanding of product lifecycle management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
