We are looking for service-oriented IT System specialist to enforce our Global IT R&D and Engineering Platforms team.
Valmet's R&D and Engineering Platforms team is responsible for IT Services in digital business domains. The focus is in providing solutions and platforms covering the business needs for Product Life Cycle Management and Engineering domains.
In this expert position, you will be working together with IT and Business stakeholders in tasks related to digitalized business. You will support and coordinate IT Services related to engineering applications.
Key tasks for IT System Specialist

Manages engineering applications
-
Provides support and guidance to end users
-
Creates and manages applications installations packages
-
Installs and manages applications' licenses
-
Provides support and guidance to the 3rd Party Service Providers in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities in the processes

Supporting project planning, design delivery and implementation in your area of responsibility
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:
-
Technical degree; B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Systems, Industrial Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field equal
-
Strong IT background with 10+ years of work experience in IT support, project- or service management
-
Extensive knowledge of operating systems i.e. Windows and related technologies.

Experience with large company IT infrastructure

Genuine interest in following engineering industry trends and related IT Technologies

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and deliver results
-
Fluent written and spoken English is a must in Valmet international working environment
