We are now looking for an IT Service Manager to join our IT Hybrid Cloud Computing team. This position is offered as an office-based in Tampere, Finland.

What you will do
Your main tasks are:
- Providing end‑to-end ‑leadership for global hybrid cloud and on‑prem computing services and suppliers, ensuring reliability, security and alignment with business strategy
- Leading and steering the governance forums, including, establishing and overseeing SLA and KPI models, ensuring measurable service performance, transparency, as well as continuous service improvement. Driving service quality, stability, and customer satisfaction
- Managing service escalations and act as a single point of escalation for business-critical issues
- Monitoring service performance, risks, and dependencies across integrated services
- Ensuring services comply with UPM security, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements
- Supporting budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial transparency for services
- Ensuring alignment of services with UPM IT strategy, standards, and operating model
- Collaborating closely with Service Owners, Business IT, Architects and local/site IT management, internally, and acting as the primary interface between UPM IT stakeholders and IT service providers, externally
Who you are
- You are an experienced IT professional with a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and modern IT solutions. You will bring proven experience in stabilizing and improving complex IT services, ideally across Cloud infrastructure environments. You are comfortable navigating multisupplier‑ environments, transitions, and organizational change, and you know how to bring clarity and structure where it's needed
- You are familiar with ITIL/ITSM practices, and an ITIL certification is considered an asset. You communicate confidently, with strong presentation, facilitation, and reporting skills that help you engage stakeholders and guide discussions effectively
- You take initiative, act with accountability, and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. You have solid cybersecurity awareness and remain composed even under pressure and tight deadlines
- You work well in a team, contribute positively to collaboration, and will integrate smoothly with our professional HCC team. You bring a positive mindset, focus on continuous improvement, and value governance models and service frameworks that are practical, sustainable, and work in real life ‑operations
- You are self-driven, highly committed to our team and IT goals, brave to challenge the status quo and have a passion to drive initiatives forward
