We're looking for a Treasury Desk Specialist to become part of our Treasury Desk team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing treasury operations and contribute to strategic financial decisions. You'll report directly to the Director, Head of Treasury Desk, and be based in Helsinki.

The Treasury function serve as the centralised treasury hub for the entire Stora Enso Group. It is responsible for a wide range of strategic financial activities, including long-term financing, financial risk management, cash and liquidity management, and relations with financial institutions and debt investors. Treasury also provides financial advisory services and forecasting support to both Stora Enso Group and Group Companies.
The Treasury Desk is responsible for financing, foreign exchange risk management, interest rate risk management, financial commodity risk management, liquidity management, asset management, internal banking diverse advisory tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily foreign exchange and liquidity position
- Preparing Stora Enso's liquidity forecasting and reporting on weekly and monthly basis
- Driving Treasury Management System development and financial market related projects
- Collect and analysing macroeconomic data to support business forecasting

Who are we looking for?
The person we are looking for is expected to have experience from Stora Enso key businesses or from finance functions. Experience from financial markets (banking, corporate Treasury or alike) are seen as a strong benefit. In addition to these, optimal candidate will be:
- Master's degree in finance, economics or related field
- 1-2-year professional experience in a relevant role
- Solid understanding of financial markets and a strong willingness to learn more
- Knowledge from databases, PowerBI and other similar reporting tools are seen as an advantage
- A true team player with high motivation to learn
- Proactive personality with great communication skills in spoken and written English, additional languages are an advantage
- High integrity and fast decision-making skills
