We're looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping our offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet our customers' most demanding challenges.

What are your key responsibilities:
In this hands-on role, you'll translate customer needs into actionable technical solutions while acting as the expert link between sales, engineering, and product management:
- Bridge Between Teams: Serve as the central feedback channel to ensure the HT offering aligns with customer requirements.
- Solution Design: Translate incoming tenders and customer requests into complete technical solutions for manual and automatic Straddle Carriers.
- Subject-Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for HT manual and automated Straddle Carrier offerings.
- Technical Customization: Identify the most fitting HT modules, propose technical deviations, and define changes for customer-specific requirements.
- Documentation & Delivery: Compile and maintain technical materials - modules, specifications, and documentation - for proposals.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of Kalmar's technical offer process and tools.

What you bring to the role:
- Customer Engagement Expertise: Proven experience working with customers in complex investment goods projects or sales-driven environments.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Background: Strong understanding of the Straddle Carrier product family; engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) preferred.
- Independent & Transparent Communicator: Able to work autonomously while maintaining clear, open communication with stakeholders across the globe.
- Hands-On Execution Skills: Capable of delivering complex solutions in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.
- Customer-Centric & Value-Driven: Focused on understanding customer needs and driving solutions through value-based selling approaches.
