We are looking for a Manager, HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), Customer Projects and sites and social responsibility in Global Supply (based in Tampere, or any other major location in Europe) to lead and manage team of ~10 HSE professionals globally securing health, safety, environmental and social responsibility standards are upheld across Customer projects and sites. We are seeking a dynamic team player who takes strong responsibility in achieving world-class HSE performance.

In this position, you will be required to
-
Lead and manager team providing project and site HSE engineer services in sales and delivery projects
-
Securing compliance with our Business Processes, country requirements and ISO standards
-
Efficient annual planning implementation
-
Identify and coordinate internal and external Site Safety Supervisor network
-
Train and coach Valmet project and site organizations and other employees, on HSE management and social responsibility process and practices.

Participate in sub-contractor audits and lead site HSE audits.
-
Arrange Sub-contractor HSE Days
-
Ensure HSE and social responsibility incidents on customer sites are investigated and communicated and lead serious incident investigations.

Actively develop project and site HSE management and social responsibility process and practices.
-
Travel 20-40 %

Any other relevant tasks assigned by the manager.
To succeed this role, you will need:
-
HSE role model with integrity and a strong moral compass.
-
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or other scientific fields. Professional HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or similar will be considered an asset.

Minimum 10 years' experience in muti-cultural customer project and site HSE work out of which minimum 5 years in Management roles.

Proactive and flexible team leadership and people management skills.
-
Technical competence in customer site HSE management practices including risk identification and mitigation especially in EPC projects.

Incident investigation skills.
-
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices and multi-site ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 management system standards, as well as internal auditing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages are merited.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Suite, Power BI, M-Files, Sharepoint and Teams.
