Position: Software Engineering Trainee
Duration: 3 Months (with option to extend)
Date: Late August to the end of November, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Espoo, Finland
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient microservices for AI systems
- Optimize existing pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency
- Conduct experiments and prototype new ideas to advance our AI system capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Prepare and present findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Currently a candidate for a Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field with an accredited school in Finland
- Experience in software development, and exposure to AI
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++ (any one of them is fine)
- Experience with system deployment frameworks (e.g., Docker, k8s)
- Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
