Suomen Ekonomit is the community and trade union for all business schools students and graduates in Finland. Present Finland-wide and with nearly 60 000 members, Ekonomit is developing a more international-friendly, diverse, professional community for all business graduates living in Finland.
We are looking for a connected, proactive, and action-oriented professional to join our team in an exciting role, contributing to making our community more appealing to international experts.
We are looking for you, International Liaison Coordinator: a person eager to take on the challenge of enhancing the appeal of Business School Graduates in Finland (Suomen Ekonomit) for our international members and potential members.

Desired qualifications and experience
- Event production/management and hosting/public speaking experience
- Connections to the international communities in Finland (personal experience of being an international in Finland is considered a plus)
- Independent worker, taking charge and initiative of assigned projects and developing new ones
- People-person / customer-centric mindset
- Great English communication skills, verbal and written
- At ease in and ready to navigate a mostly Finnish-speaking environment with support of AI translation tools
- Pre/existing knowledge of Suomen Ekonomit, trade union and unemployment fund system in Finland is considered an advantage
- Business/Economics graduate (or soon-to-graduate) from a university
Tasks
- Finalizing production and hosting NCBE, Nordic Competition in Business and Economics, for students across the Nordics
- Continuing our mentorship programme for international students, soon-to-graduate and recent graduates
- Identifying and attending key topical events like recruitment/integration fairs, workshops, etc targeted at internationals in Finland
- Producing and hosting the 3rd edition of our Student Culture Forum focusing on international students’ integration and support
- Producing and hosting Finnternational Connections second edition, in collaboration with partners
- Preparing and hosting our International Steering Group meetings and implementing steering group recommendations/ideas
- Building bridges with international community network actors and public actors
- Act as an internal consultant and advocate on matters (services, benefits) related to internationals and English communication

This position is within the customer experience unit, working alongside professionals in communication, marketing, customer service, digital services, event production, customer experience development, and student activities. You'll have the support of our organization of over 60 professionals, including career coaches, lawyers, and advocacy experts.
Our office is conveniently located near Tripla (at Pasila) with good transport links. We offer flexible remote work options and attractive employee benefits. The position requires flexibility to work weekends/evenings or travel in Finland, when occasionally needed
The position starts preferably in mid-August. The role is full-time and fixed-term (parental leave substitute) until the end of April 2026. We offer a salary ranging between €3,200 and €4,200 depending on your expertise and experience.
