We want to transition the world towards a decarbonised and sustainable future. By pushing the boundaries of engineering and technology, we can make it work. We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?
We are looking for a Manager, CRM Analytics with a main responsibility in ensuring the Marine Sales Community has access to reliable, actionable and embedded insights within Salesforce CRM. The preferred location is Helsinki, Turku or Vaasa, Finland. Visa or relocation support will not be provided. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Manager, CRM Analytics, you focus on providing clear and actionable in-tool insights such as recommendations on next steps that enable data-driven decision making and sales growth. You do hands-on development using CRM Analytics software, and actively contribute to roadmap planning and execution, technical investigations incl. AI exploration, and ad-hoc end user support.
You'll be part of Sales Enablement and Excellence (SEE) team with diverse expertise. We enable sales performance by building strong sales capabilities and tools, data‑driven insights, and efficient processes. We are involved in many complex initiatives globally, so you need to be comfortable with fast pace, ambiguity, and working independently with a variety of stakeholders across Sales, IT, and external consultancy. We look for a person with both technical and commercial skills, one who can advise what is the best way forward and why based on data. Note that this role does not contain line manager responsibility, but rather the title indicates that you are a senior expert or a product owner of in-tool insights.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Roadmap: Support the Sales Enablement and Excellence team in planning and delivering roadmap actions; run technical investigations independently and with peers to evaluate new ideas and recommend solutions considering value, cost, risks, and impact.
- Hands-on development: use 'CRM Analytics' software and other Salesforce reporting capabilities like custom reports with live data, to deliver reliable insights for 500+ users. Focus on the sales funnel, forecasting, operational activities, and reporting data quality improvement with peers.
- Stakeholders: Partner with stakeholders to clarify business problems, define success metrics, and translate user needs into functional technical solutions. Support users, drive analytics adoption, ensure training material is in place.
- Coordination: you are responsible for managing the Jira backlog for CRM Analytics, prioritising tickets and coordinating development tasks among you, two colleagues and a consultant to meet deadlines and budget.
- Testing: in addition to ensuring in-tool operational insights are reliable, support peers occasionally with testing of management insights within PowerBI and ensuring harmonised design and good user experience across tools.
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
Relevant experience and education:
- Demonstrable experience from working with analytics in Salesforce CRM context: you understand what technical options are available for insight generation, what are the best practises, and are willing to continuously increase your awareness and skills as technology evolves
- 3+ years of experience from developing BI tools to deliver actionable insights
- Relevant education (Bachelor's or Master's) or equivalent work experience in fields like data analytics, operational research or business administration
- Willingness to study towards Salesforce certification, if not obtained already
Skills:
- CRM Analytics development (data connections, recipes, dashboards, lenses etc.)
- SAQL and/or SQL and/or SOQL; ability to debug and test solutions independently
- UX mindset for analytics: clear storytelling, KPI definition, and building intuitive user journeys
- Strong stakeholder management and communication: can collaborate across teams, gather requirements and challenge assumptions, and translate findings into workable solutions that provide measurable value to users.
- Flexible, able to manage multiple priorities and work iteratively
- Willing to mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge to help the team grow
Ideally, you would also be familiar with the Marine industry and have previously led/owned an insights roadmap or an analytics product.
