We are looking for an interim administrative support for a four month project together with our client European Chemicals Agency ECHA. Please note that working language is English.
The job starts as soon as possible and ends 30.9.2026.
Main duties:
- Assist in the administration of library and online subscriptions management tasks of the unit such as monitor expenditure, administer user account access, collect data such as user statistics, liaise with library and subscription providers and respond to internal queries
- Liaise with the unit contract managers and assist in gathering, recording and presenting the unit budgetary needs for the different service and contracts under the responsibility of the unit
- Assist other colleagues within the unit in such areas as staff travel, translation services, and general reporting
- Ensuring that excellent standards of customer service are met as a representative of both the Logistics and General services unit and the Directorate of Corporate Services;
- Administer the document management and distribution system
- Seeking continuous service improvement, identifying and suggesting best practices related to the area of work
- Perform other duties related to the job
We expect from you:
- Education: University degree
- Professional experience: 2+ year
- Ability to take responsibility for specific areas of work and see actions through to completion ensuring that the deadlines are met
- Good administration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Aptitude for team work as well as cooperative and customer-oriented attitude
- Previous work experience in a similar multi-cultural environment
- Good English skills both written and spoken (as this is the working language of the Agency)
