Introduction
We are looking for a Communications Manager, Safety and Quality to join Metso's Internal Communications and Functions team within Communications and Public Affairs. In this role, you will lead safety and quality communications at Metso through various communications activities and work closely with stakeholders on safety and quality management topics to support Metso's We go beyond. strategy.
This position is located in Espoo, Finland due to the proximity of key stakeholders. We are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
This is a temporary 12-month substitution position.
What you'll do
- Driving and developing Metso's safety and quality communications with the global Safety and Quality teams and in close collaboration with group functions, market areas, and business management.
- Developing and managing the annual clock of various communications activities and addressing safety and quality-related topics according to the plan. This will include defining the communications plans, preparing internal or external presentations, videos, blogs, customer-focused materials, and so on, and delivering them utilizing Metso's global communications channels.
- Provide expert input for the development of training materials on safety or quality.
- Planning and implementing new communications initiatives to improve safety and quality performance at Metso.
Who you are
- A relevant university degree.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Understanding of Metso's business and the customer industries. Knowledge of safety, operations, quality management, and auditing-related topics is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of multi-channel content creation and tools, including video-editing.
- Interest in learning and developing the use of AI in communications.
- Ability to build relationships and trust with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
