The GGR Business Operations Manager is a central orchestrator for Geopolitics and Government Relations team, responsible for ensuring clarity, alignment, and seamless execution across GGR operations, organizational processes, governance, engagements, and internal communications. This role co-ordinates internal and external visits, briefings and de-briefings, and co-ordinates annual governmental engagements schedule following Nokia’s global standards. The individual also supports the Country Manager of Nokia Finland in executing the Country strategy.
This is a high-impact role combining operational coordination, government relations, engagement management, communications, and excellence. The role is based in the Nokia Headquarters in Espoo and the person is a member of the Nokia GGR HQ team.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
GGR Operational excellence
- Manage GGR meeting briefing and de-briefing processes for external/internal engagements ensuring the highest level of quality in the briefings.
- Co-ordinate annual Nokia level governmental engagements schedule together with GGR HQ team and CEO & GLT offices.
- Support the execution of GGR‑wide processes, including annual cycles, quarterly refreshes, and strategy-related documentation together with the HQ GGR team.
- Maintain GGR internal process clarity (distribution lists, information pages, documentation hygiene).
GGR hosted visits to Nokia Headquarters (Internal & External)
GGR Internal Communications
- Support and deliver organization‑wide updates, announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, and townhalls, ensuring smooth integration into broader Nokia communications rhythms.
- Maintain the Nokia GGR intranet content, structure, and updates in accordance with Nokia Communications guidelines.
Finland Country Management Team
- Support Nokia Finland’s Country Manager and the Finland Country management team with actions to enable the execution of Nokia’s Country Strategy for Finland.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate education in public policy, government relations or law highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge and proven history of working with government departments and ministries
- Demonstrated experience influencing and leveraging relationships at a senior level to support business objectives
- Ability to set and execute strategies aligned with business outcomes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- The role requires the ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a complex environment where flexibility and influencing skills are essential.
- Deep interest in Geopolitics in the continuously changing environment
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
