We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Leader for our client, GE Healthcare Finland, for a fixed‑term position of approximately one year (until March 2027), with the possibility of extension.
As a Strategic Sourcing Leader, you will be responsible for managing and directing all sourcing activities within your assigned product segments. You will be the key interface between the Segment and Global sourcing to ensure strategies and needs are represented.
Key resposibilities:
Serve as a key member of a cross‑functional team, acting as the primary interface between Product Development teams and the Supplier Management organization. Lead critical sourcing deliverables throughout the entire product lifecycle.

You will be the Key focal point for all Supply Chain issues pertaining to installed base component obsolescence and quality. This will include managing new product introduction deliverables required to establish an optimal supply chain focused on strategic suppliers with a strategy to achieve target product price for assigned segment.

Manage sourcing initiatives early in the process to ensure excellence in supplier selection, components, and platform specification including the selection of preferred suppliers and simplification and meeting targets and managing costs.

Integrate Engineering, Production, and Sourcing objectives in the execution of assigned segment including promoting standardization across programs for supplied product and lead sourcing initiatives. Ensure excellence in supplier selection and component and platform specification driving supplier capability measurements for assigned programs.

Collaborate with engineering to ensure technology match occurs between supply partners and engineering & manufacturing to ensure capable product and factory fulfillment requirements are met.
In order to succeed in the job, we will ideally require:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Commercial, engineering or technical related field is desirable)

3 plus years experience preferable in engineering or sourcing or manufacturing

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets analysis

Working experience with development and production of Medical Devices is considered a plus

Excellent project management skills

Experience with ePDM and Oracle systems is an advantage
As a person you are self-drive, flexible, and work well with multiple stakeholders. You are eager to learn and skilled in self-management prioritizing.
