We are now looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer focused on Azure Security to strengthen our cloud and security capabilities. In this role, security is not an add-on, it is a core responsibility. You will design, secure, harden, and operate Azure cloud environments that meet strict security, compliance, and reliability requirements across production-grade customer environments.
You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders to define secure cloud architectures, assess risks, implement governance, and continuously improve the security posture of Azure environments in demanding real-world use. This role is ideal for an engineer who understands that most cloud security failures are design and configuration issues and who is confident challenging insecure decisions while communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

As an Azure Security Specialist, you will:
Azure Security Architecture & Governance
-Design secure Azure architectures using security-by-design and zero-trust principles
-Define and implement Azure Landing Zones with built‑in security guardrails
-Establish governance using Azure Policy, management groups, and RBAC
-Design secure subscription, network, and identity models
Security Operations & Hardening
-Perform system and network hardening
-Conduct vulnerability assessments
-Analyse and resolve complex security, infrastructure, and deployment issues
-Improve monitoring, logging, and detection visibility across Azure environments
Advisory & Continuous Improvement
-Define Azure security patterns, guidelines, and ways of working
-Advise clients on secure cloud adoption, architecture, and risk management
-Take ownership of security outcomes - not just implementations
