As a Partner Manager for Travel Assistance Services Nordicly, you will play a key role in managing and developing our supplier network. You'll be part of the Strategic Partnerships team within PI Claims, working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services for our customers.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations within the travel assistance services category. Your work will directly impact the customer journey during critical moments, such as medical emergencies abroad.
Strategic sourcing, make or buy analysis, long term planning, internal and external relationship building, ensuring product profitability, cost optimization, identifying and managing risk, monitoring market conditions supplier and competitor, negotiating strategy (MDO, BATNA).
The Partner Manager develops and implements the category, sourcing, and partner/supplier strategies for selected categories and areas based on market and spend analysis in line with relevant product and claims strategies in accordance with If's policies and guidelines. S/he develops and manages designated partner/supplier relationships in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. The Partner Manager is responsible for securing and developing cost efficient and smooth customer journeys together with relevant stakeholders and agile squads. The role includes:
- Developing and implementing category and sourcing strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders based on If's strategy.
- Managing supplier relationships and performance, including KPIs and service quality.
- Leading procurement projects: from market analysis and RFPs to contract negotiations and implementation.
- Ensuring compliance with If's sustainability and procurement policies.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align supplier capabilities with customer needs.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying new potential partners or service innovations.
- Facilitate and support compliance to procurement process and agreements by e.g. Ensuring internal training of stakeholders about the partner networks, content in agreements, processes, services and any other relevant information.
- Responsible for ensuring partner/supplier base compliance to If sustainability requirements and other If policies and instructions.
- Supporting and participating in cross regional sourcing and supplier management activity, initiatives, projects and ongoing management.

You are a proactive and strategic sourcing professional with a global mindset and a passion for building strong supplier relationships. With over five years of experience in global sourcing within a multinational environment, you are confident navigating complex stakeholder landscapes across different geographies. You thrive in dynamic settings, are comfortable driving change, and have a proven ability to deliver tangible results.
You bring:
- Strong stakeholder and change management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and cultures.
- A solid track record in negotiating cost savings and drafting contracts in English.
- A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A curious mindset and a drive to continuously improve processes and partnerships.
You also have:
Education: A degree in economics, business, or industrial management
Experience required:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts
- Cost modeling and data analysis
- Supplier and Partner relationship management (SRM)
- Running RFPs and procurement projects
- Project & change management
- Stakeholder engagement across regions
- Excellent communication skills in English (Nordic languages are a plus)
