We are now looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Logistics Sourcing Manager for Kemira's EMEA Logistics Sourcing & Operations team for our Operations Unit.
Operations unit further strengthens our operational backbone, supporting the business units' growth agendas, safeguarding and enhancing optimization of our supply chain operations and cost efficiency. Importantly, it will allow our business units to concentrate on delivering their ambitious commercial agendas.
Logistics Sourcing Manager role is essential in sourcing safe, efficient, and reliable road transportation services across European markets, ensuring optimal cost, efficiency, and service levels. This position is based at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Driving continuous improvements in logistics to support Kemira's growth and profitability.
- Sourcing road transportation services and supporting category strategy creation and implementation.
- Managing logistics service vendors and ensuring effective end-to-end logistics performance.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop logistics services.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Several years of experience in sourcing logistics or other indirect services in a fast-paced international environment.
- Experience in running service Request for Quotations and contract negotiations with vendors.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
- B.Sc./ M.Sc. or equivalent in Economics, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives and prioritize projects.
- Fluency in English; other language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
