We are now looking for a
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
to work on our operational integrations. Working as a Software Developer, your job is to develop and maintain our operational integrations for, among others, flight crew, ground crew, cargo and technical operations. Your work will help to automate Finnair's flight operations by reducing the amount of manual work on the ground and in the air.
You will get to learn all the different stages of a flight and what happens on the ground between flights. You will use your technical expertise and work together with the operations to make these different stages more efficient.

Do meaningful work in an interesting field creating services to our pilots, cabin crew, cargo operations, and others

Work with the latest technologies in 100% serverless, event-driven AWS architecture including among others Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, RDS, OpenAPI and automated CI/CD pipelines using TypeScript

Collaborate in an international team with talented, motivated people from around the world: we encourage working together and helping each other out, developing our ways of working and giving feedback in a positive manner
From you, we wish:

+2 years experience in software development

Solid experience in effective software development methodologies and working as a member of a development team

Knowledge of software product development process and agile working methods

Experience in building software integrations in Cloud

Good communication and self organising skills.

Ability to contribute to product development from technical perspective

Previous experience at least in some of our stack: AWS, TypeScript, event-driven architecture and OpenAPI

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology area or equivalent work experience

Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Experience in airline industry is considered an advantage
