We Are Looking for a Senior Turbine Automation Specialist!
Valmet Automation business line is looking for a Senior Turbine Specialist for Energy & Process Systems (EPS) business unit.
EPS Turbine Automation team has global business responsibility for turbine automation systems for energy, process and marine customers.
Our Turbine Automation team supports our sales, project and service teams globally and aim to constantly improve and develop further our turbine automation offering.
Your main responsibilities include:

Maintain and improve turbine control applications

Have a key role in selected turbine development projects

Work together with sales and engineering teams to provide best available and cost optimal turbine control system solution to customers

Supporting turbine automation deliveries from sales phase to service tasks

Provide expertise and share information across the organization (e.g. global Operation & Service teams)

Remote and/or on-site support for turbine start-up and troubleshooting
-
Product market analysis to provide ideas for new products and solutions

Internal and external trainings of turbine control
What we expect from you:

You have very good Valmet DNA hands-on system and application experience

You have turbine process and control solutions know-how
-
You are development and solution oriented with "can do" attitude- you utilize your imagination and experience to produce new ideas and dare to test them.

You have excellent team working skills with active attitude in co-operation. You are willing to support colleagues globally and create wide network inside and outside the company.

Your customer-oriented mind-set helps you to understand product value to our customer and you can turn customer needs into a commercial application.

In a global organization, you need to have fluent written and spoken English, other languages are considered as an advantage.

You have Master's or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, or equivalent professional experience and competences.

Location
The role is open for Finland, Poland, Spain, France and Italy. We encourage applications from candidates located in any of these countries. Work location will be agreed based on the candidate's experience, Valmet office locations, and business needs. The position includes collaboration with global teams and occasional travel.
