We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our Delivery Engineering team and to ensure successful Customer projects.
The position is permanent and, in the long run, gives exciting career opportunities in global business with leading technologies in the market.
The location for this position is our Head Office in Espoo.
What you'll do
- Act as a responsible Mechanical Engineer in our Customer projects
- Work in close co-operation with multiple stakeholders
- Lead and manage Mechanical Engineering tasks in projects, and also participate in the work at a detailed level
- Be responsible for the preparation of technical documents for manufacturing and construction
- Be responsible for the cost, quality, and schedule aspects of the relevant project's engineering portion
- Participate in the development of working processes and practices with internal stakeholders
- Be involved in sales, procurement, and technology development projects and participate in and support site activities when needed
Who you are
- Strong experience in delivery engineering, preferably in the process industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Good co-operation and interpersonal skills
- Clear understanding of how to implement products into projects
- Solid understanding of Machine Safety
- Project-oriented working methods
- Capability to work independently and proactively
- Capability to use engineering tools with efficiency: 2D, 3D, EDM & PLM
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to occasionally travel and work temporarily at customer sites globally
