Data, Analytics and AI summer trainees

We are looking for multiple summer trainees for different knowledge areas so please check from below which area(s) would meet Your skills and interests:
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Can you create data visualization and tell stories with the data? (e.g. Power BI)
- Can you query and build the data for decision-making to an understandable and usable form? (e.g SQL, Python)
Business Analytics
- Can you use statistical analysis and modeling to uncover trends and patterns to create actionable insights?
- Can you create and utilize customer segmentation and behavioral analytics to improve customer engagement?
- Can you translate data and analytics into clear insights for the stakeholders?
Digital Analytics
- Are you interested to see how our users are behaving in digital channels?
- Can you use and analyze app and web analytics data and probably impelement and test it (for example by Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager)?
- Do you handle also SQL with data layers and/or HTML with front-end?
Data Science & Personalization
- Can you utilize machine learning and predictive analytics to personalize experience or optimize performance?
- Can you design and execute experimentation to validate ideas and optimize the outcomes?
Generative AI
- Are you excited to move beyond simple prompting to build robust AI applications using modern frameworks?
- Can you experiment with different models and techniques (like RAG) to solve actual business problems?
- Can you take an idea from a quick prototype to a usable internal tool that improves efficiency?
Data Governance & Data Development
- Can you understand data pipelines, data quality, and usability of data assets?
- Can you organize and classify data assets, so they are easy to find and understand by business users?

This position is full-time and fixed term.
The position is located at Veikkaus' headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model with three on-site days per week.
