About the role
If already hasprofessional procurement units with procurement processes and tools in place. Now, the task is to take the next step on the development journey. In the role asProcurement Excellence Manager, you will take the lead as project manager, transforming strategic goals into tangible results - such as digital tools and new processes. You'll assemble the right teams for each sub-project, lead and motivate them to ensure continuous progress. Simultaneously, you'll act as a sparring partner on larger and more complex tenders across If.

About Procurement Excellence and the Team
Procurement Excellence drivesimprovement initiatives across If and acts as an enabler by implementing cross-functional procurement solutions that enhance collaboration and unlock synergies across business units.You will join the newly established Procurement Excellence function, consisting of four skilled colleagues with expertise in data analysis, digital development, sustainable procurement, and procurement strategy. We are part of Group Legal, and work in close partnership with procurement teams across Claims, IT, and Group Services among others.
Who are you?
This role suits someone who thrives on being proactive and making things happen. You should be comfortable navigating large organizations with many parallel projects and stakeholders. To succeed, you must communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing. You should be pragmatic and solution-oriented-if plan A doesn't work, you try plan B. You'll need to maintain momentum over long periods and not be discouraged by temporary setbacks.
Yourqualifications:

Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field

Solid, minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement - you understand the processes and workflows

Proven project management experience with the ability to lead projects involving many stakeholders

Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language

Motivation to work with numbers and data

Preferably experience in procurement transformation or PMO roles across large organizations
