As a Validation Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the performance and safety of Eaton’s UPS systems. You’ll work hands-on in our electrical test laboratory, developing and executing test methods, automating processes, and collaborating across global teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
What you’ll do:
·Design and build test setups for UPS systems and document results.·Develop and refine test processes, requirements, and documentation.·Create and implement test automation, including writing scripts and procedures.·Provide technical support to cross-functional departments.·Ensure lab equipment safety and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.·Collaborate with Eaton’s global test organizations to share best practices.Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.·Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical testing or design.Skills:
- Good understanding of electrical systems, UPS installations, and lab safety.
- Familiarity with embedded firmware and high-power lab tools (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, meters).
- Proactive, self-managed, and team-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and task execution skills.
