The Air Systems function develops and delivers air systems for packaging and paper industry. Our solutions help customers increase productivity, reduce operating costs, save energy, and improve quality. We work closely with other Valmet businesses, providing expert support and driving joint development. Our main location is in Raisio, Finland.
We are now looking for a Senior Manager, Application and Planning to lead and develop our application and planning operations. In this role, you will ensure that technical solutions and costings are built to meet customer needs using defined tools and systems. You will also be responsible for scheduling sales and delivery projects, managing material and service demands, and leading the development of tools and systems across air systems.
In this role, you will report to the Director, Air Systems and be located in our Raisio office, Finland.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop instructions, tools, and systems for quoting, scheduling, and deliverables planning in Air Systems scope of responsibilities
- Produce sales quotations, delivery schedules and deliverables according to the agreed scope of delivery
- Manage resources loading within Air Systems delivery network
- Ensure consistent processes with Packaging business area in quoting, scheduling and deliverable creation
- Maintain and monitor KPI indicators
- Support successful delivery of customer projects by ensuring accurate and timely material demand data
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Familiar with Air Systems offering and related sales material.
- Strong understanding of project planning, cost modeling, and ERP systems.
- Experience in leading cross-functional development initiatives.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Independent and proactive working style, complemented by strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
- Dynamic leadership skills or genuine interest for leading the team of ~10 professionals
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); other language skills are a plus.
