Take the lead in building logistics excellence
On behalf of our client K.Hartwall, we at Barona Engineering are looking for a Project Manager to manage mechanical installations and delivery projects in the UK region. This is a permanent employment directly with K.Hartwall. We hope that you will be available to commence work as soonas possible. Your preferred location is in Finland,but full remote work is possible from anywhere in the EU. Occasional travel and adapting work time to different time zones will be required.
Responsibilities
K.Hartwall is a Scandinavian logistics solution provider known for delivering smart, sustainable equipment solutions across the globe. In this role, you’ll join an experienced, international team and take responsibility for executing multi-site logistics installation projects — all without needing to be physically present at customer sites.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of equipment installation projects across the UK. Each project includes several delivery sites, and your job is to ensure that all logistics products are delivered on time and installed by our skilled subcontractor network.
Key responsibilities:

Project planning, scheduling, quality follow-up and cost estimation

Leading weekly customer communication and project follow-up

Coordinating with logistics and installation partners

Aligning with our logistics function and manufacturing partners (Finland, Czech Republic, Poland)

Managing installation leftovers and resolving post-project logistics.
Each week, you’ll handle 2–3 active projects, and all installations are performed by trusted subcontractors. You’ll be the glue that holds it all together — communicating, planning, and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
Your background
We’re looking for someone with a strong project mindset and a background in logistics or industrial installation deliveries. You should have:

Solid experience in similar project management roles

Technical knowledge in installation or mechanical engineering

Strong customer communication skills

English fluency
-
A proactive, structured, and independent working style
-
Experience in equipment installation or subcontractor coordination is highly valued.
