HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity and AI security strategy aligned with business objectives and evolving threat landscapes.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team including security engineers, analysts, and AI security specialists.
- Oversee threat modeling, risk assessment, and security reviews for AI/ML systems, ensuring model integrity, data protection, and responsible AI use.
- Ensure organizational readiness and ongoing compliance with the EU AI Act, GDPR, and other global AI-related regulations.
- Develop and implement security policies, governance structures, and incident response plans specific to both IT and AI environments.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, legal, and compliance teams to embed security and privacy into the AI development lifecycle (MLSecOps).
- Lead audits, internal assessments, and third-party evaluations for both cybersecurity and AI governance programs.
- Stay current on emerging AI threats (e.g., model poisoning, adversarial attacks), regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
- Represent the organization in security, privacy, and AI governance forums and with external auditors and regulators.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role; experience in AI/ML security is a strong advantage.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, SOC 2).
- Experience designing secure AI systems, including data protection, access control, and model lifecycle security.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or specialized AI/ML security credentials are preferred.
