As a member of the Nokia Design team, you'll help shape the future of human experience through innovative product design. Working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers, you'll contribute to the entire product creation process, turning consumer needs into competitive concepts. You'll gain hands-on experience designing for mass production, using cutting-edge technology, and creating exceptional user experiences. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Learn about the product creation process and collaboration between designers, product managers, and engineers when creating new devices.
- Translate consumer needs and customer requirements into competitive world-class product concepts.
- Design for mass production using state-of-the-art technology.
- Create products and experiences as part of an in-house design team.
- Work closely with R&D teams across Nokia.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Current studies in a Master’s program in Industrial Design
- Proficient in 3D design software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Solid rendering skills (KeyShot, Blender)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with prototyping, workshop and 3D printing
- A self-starting attitude with strong learning agility, strategic thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information and projects responsibly
- A solid understanding of hardware and technology
