We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join ongoing data center projects in Uusimaa.
This is an opportunity to work in a technically demanding and fast-paced environment as part of an international project organization. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 months and is available to start as soon as possible.
About the role
In this role, you will support the delivery of mechanical systems within a large-scale data center project. You will work closely with contractors, project stakeholders, and other disciplines to ensure that installations are completed according to project requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
The role focuses on critical mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling, and piping systems that are essential for the reliable operation of a data center.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle
- Reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Monitoring installation progress and supporting quality inspections
- Collaborating with contractors and project teams on technical matters
- Participating in site meetings and project reviews
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Supporting project documentation and reporting
- Supporting compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures
We are looking for
- Relevant educational background in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience working with electrical systems in construction, industrial, or energy projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Understanding of electrical installations and technical project delivery
- Experience collaborating with contractors and project stakeholders
- Full working proficiency in English
