Core Networks is part of Nokia’s Mobile Infrastructure organization, building carrier-grade core network software that enables secure and reliable mobile connectivity at scale. The team develops and maintains cloud-native features and tools across core network components, focusing on software quality, automation, and continuous improvement. Currently, we have an exciting business operations internship opportunity where you will contribute to core networks success in a collaborative, mentoring-driven environment. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a Business Operations Trainee in the Core Networks business unit, you will work closely with product management, R&D, and other stakeholders to help orchestrate and track corporate and BU initiatives, actions and programs, and provide management reporting and tracking that supports decision-making through structured analysis and effective communication.

You will perform and support different ad-hoc analyses as requested, and co-host meetings and reviews. Management interaction is key, as well as maintaining high standards for accurate and timely delivery of reports and analysis.

You don’t shy away from large amounts of data and can summarize complex topics into clear information. You are well organized and comfortable in a global environment, often working with tight deadlines, a large number of contacts, and the never-ending rhythm of new requests and changes.

Most of all, you have the passion and determination to join and support the management, execution and profitability of this key part of Nokia’s Mobile Infrastructure business.

As a trainee, you will learn to use practical methods and tools used in business analysis (e.g., M365 complete environment including Copilot, generate internal communication and basic reporting), and by the end of the internship you will be ready to support business management in their daily work.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Ongoing BSc. or MSc. studies in industrial engineering and management, business administration or similar, concentrating on strategy, accounting or leadership, for example
- Knowledge of M365 environment
- Fluency in English with good communication skills
- Availability to work at least 20-30 hours per week
It would be nice if you also had:
- Curiosity for technology
- Proven aptitude for methodical problem solving, strong attention to detail and proactiveness
- Ability to learn quickly and to work well in a global team
Kindly note that to be able to work as a trainee at Nokia Finland, you must hold an active student status and be located in Finland since international relocation support is not available for trainee positions. Please also note that Nokia Finland trainee salaries are purely based on the study credits.
