For a well-known and iconic ICT customer in Espoo, we are looking for an experienced Payroll manager. This role covers payroll operations for the Nordic countries — Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
Tasks and job description:
- Payroll processing and reconciliation

- Reporting, analysis and controls
Qualifications and Experience
- End-to-end Nordic payroll delivery — 8+ years experience
- Hands-on responsibility for payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory submissions and payroll controls.
- Direct experience in at least one Nordic country; multi-country Nordic experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll delivery for one or more Nordic countries, ideally in a multi-country or regional role.
- Working knowledge of Nordic statutory payroll requirements, including local tax and social security filing obligations, holiday pay schemes and garnishment handling.
- Experience operating in an outsourced or partially outsourced payroll model, with direct accountability for vendor performance against service level agreements.
- A track record of managing employee-facing escalations and communicating credibly with senior stakeholders under time pressure.
- Fluency in English; a Nordic language is an advantage for engagement with local authorities and providers.

Location: Espoo + remote (this work can be done remote after hand-over period)
