About the Role
We are looking for an experienced BMC Remedy Developer / Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating BMC Remedy ITSM solutions while supporting business-critical service management processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to design efficient workflows, implement automation, and integrate Remedy with enterprise systems.
This is a fixed‑term (approx. 5 months) full‑time hybrid position based in Helsinki, Finland, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BMC Remedy ITSM solutions.
- Customize Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset/CMDB processes to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Remedy forms, workflows, and business logic.
- Configure email notifications, templates, and workflow automation.
- Design and implement end-to-end service management workflows.
- Develop integrations between BMC Remedy and external enterprise systems.
- Support process improvements through automation and orchestration.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
Core BMC Remedy Platform Knowledge
- Strong understanding of BMC Remedy ITSM platform.
- Experience with: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management / CMDB,
Remedy Development, hands-on experience with:
- Forms (data structures)
- Active Links (UI logic)
- Filters and Filter Guides (business rules)
- Escalations (scheduler-based logic)
Customization
Experience customizing:
- Incident Management workflows
- Change Management workflows
- Email templates and notifications
Workflow & Automation
Ability to design and implement end-to-end service workflows, including:
- Ticket routing
- SLA tracking
- Approval workflows
- Process orchestration and automation
Integration Experience
Proven experience with:
- REST APIs and Web Services
- Integrating BMC Remedy with external systems such as OSS/BSS platforms, ServiceNow, and monitoring tools
- Event-driven integrations (e.g., alerts automatically creating incidents or tickets)
