We are looking for a
Global Technical Training Specialist
To provide global technical training support and training material production to Normet Group including business lines and sales areas. In this role you will work together with the Global Technical Support team and collaborate with R&D, Production, Service Centers, and Sales functions across the world, reporting to Global Technical Support Manager. The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Coordinate and support technical training activities globally, with a focus on Normet's mining equipment and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technologies
- Create, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, visual guides, and supporting documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Take and organize photos and basic videos of machines, components, maintenance activities, and training exercises for training purposes
- Maintain training content libraries and ensure training materials remain organized, accessible, and up to date
- Coordinate training invitations, participant communication, attendance lists, and follow-up activities
- Prepare training announcements and communications for internal and external audiences
- Coordinate factory training visits and practical arrangements, including schedules, facilities, equipment, visitor logistics, and training resources
- Coordinate SME participation and ensure training agendas are supported by the appropriate technical experts
- Support trainers in the preparation and delivery of classroom, workshop, and practical training sessions
- Maintain training participation records, collect training feedback, and support training administration activities
To shine in this position, we hope you have:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in technical training, technical documentation, technical support, communications, or coordination roles related to industrial or heavy equipment environments
- Bachelor's degree in technical fields, communications, education, business administration, or another relevant discipline
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with basic photo, video, and multimedia editing tools
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively with technical experts and stakeholders in a multinational environment
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; other languages are considered an asset
- Previous training, event coordination, documentation, or communications experience is considered beneficial
