We are looking for a Development Manager, Core Label Materials to join our Product Development and Innovations team in one of the UPM Adhesive Materials locations in Poland, or in Finland.

What you will do
-
Manage significant Product Development portfolio for monetary impact by prioritizing the ideas and ensuring the speed of implementation

Run key projects for Core labelstock segment area

Be responsible for technical ownership, management and further development of product portfolio for Core Label Materials - in details for Food, HPC, Beverage, Logistics, Retail end uses

Be responsible for gathering the necessary PD & Innovation information for idea preparations, project progress follow-up and portfolio management

Be in charge of benchmarking products and cooperation with industrial stakeholders for understanding the product performance

Communicate actively with Core Label Materials Market team and other stakeholders
Who you are
-
You have a higher education (bachelor's or master's degree) in Engineering or in Chemistry
-
You have knowledge of standard paper and film label products, customers and end users demands
-
You have experience of working with PSL and component technology, production, converting and labeling processes
-
You have analytical skills, knowledge of logical problem solving, and project and team leadership skills
-
You understand business strategies, objectives and how PD & Innovation promote the realization of the targets

You show initiative and innovation and can prioritize and organize own work
-
You present good collaboration skills and ability to work in teams

You have good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset

This position is located in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska, Poland or Tampere, Finland.
This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration.
The position holder will report to Ismo Pietari, Director, Product Development & Innovation, EMEIA.
