ALTEN Finland is looking for an experienced Back End Developer to join a long‑term project working with up‑to‑date technologies in a cloud‑based environment.
The role is mainly remote, with on‑site work approximately once per week (Helsinki or Jyväskylä).
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Strong hands‑on experience in back‑end development using Golang and/or Kotlin
- Experience working in public cloud environments
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)
- Background in agile software development
- Fluent English communication skills
Considered a plus:
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g. Terraform)
- Familiarity with advanced data solutions (such as graph databases)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Interest in improving team ways of working and development processes
