In the TRX design team we develop world-class transmitters and receivers for future radios. As an RF HW engineer you will be focusing on designing, implementing and testing the RF part of the transmitter and receiver chains of the radios. We provide the latest design and testing tools and methods to support your design work. In your role in TRX team you will contribute to RF receiver/transmitter development and testing depending on your experience.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Are you keen to solve problems? As a part of TRX team Your responsibilities may include:
- Development of RF transmitter or receiver under the supervision of technical leaders and project management.
- Participate to bring-up work, testing, trouble shooting and documentation in your own design area
- Troubleshooting RF related SW with other HW an SW engineers
- Manufacturing support including problem solving
- Consult and support your own team external interfaces
- Contribute to the guidelines and process improvements and share your experience and knowledge within your own team
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams in multicultural environment.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must-Have:
- BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 4-8 years of experience of RF hardware designs and topologies
- Proficient in RF measurements and testing
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving capability
- Effective team player with strong collaboration skills
- Familiarity with RF simulation tools (Like AWR, ADS, CST, HFSS) and willingness to develop your own expertise on this area
Nice-To-Have:
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Understanding of radio networks and telecommunications
- Knowledge of low-level SW or firmware is seen as benefit
Please note that this role requires presence at the Oulu office and we are not offering international relocation option for this position.
