Key responsibilities
- Responsible for reliability of plant, equipment, facilities and systems to ensure optimum availability and efficiency including cost efficiencies.
- Ensures that maintenance delivers maximum availability and optimal efficiency of production equipment and systems at a site.
- Identifies and handles improvements within production and technology development, contributing to the CAPEX process and manages simple/small CAPEX execution.
- Drives the people agenda and ensure proper leading of employees in department.
- Ensures safe working conditions, and contribute to the work with LEAN principles, food safety and quality at the site.
- Responsible for targets and forecasting of budgets.
- Responsible for all areas of engineering compliance, and leads the direction for the department and connects Arla Foods vision, mission, strategy and values to the tasks of the department.
- Leads, coaches and develops team and organization based on Good values, Good leadership and Good Growth according to annual people processes.
- Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods standards, policies as well as applicable law and Health and Safety procedures and mindset.
- Managers LCO Team (Core Team and Line Teams) to jointly improve line performance (using LEAN tools, APS, SPC, OEE), and is accountable for Continuous Improvements in LCO area.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensures LEAN ways of working at the site to deliver maintenance excellence.
- Ensures, delivers and deploys long term plans to deliver optimum maintenance of process/production equipment, service installations and production IT.
- Is role model for digital transformation, works with data driven decision making and promotes a digital mindset within the team Responsible for process confirmation to support the APS transformation.
- Contributes and executes the local business plan within area of responsibility.
- Engages with team and occasionally key business group stakeholders to respond effectively recovering site and production facilities in event of equipment failure.
- Prepares, negotiates and manages contracts with service providers in accordance with applicable policies.
