Licensing Excellence enables and manages high-quality licensing deals that promote current value generation and long-term sustainability and growth in TECH’s licensing business through executing end-to-end licensing processes in accordance with licensing policy. The Royalty Management team within Licensing Excellence provides royalty management throughout the lifecycle of licensing deals by reviewing close-to-final agreements specifically for royalty clauses, considering technical aspects to enable royalty reporting and royalty calculations as well as by managing all in-force license agreements in terms of licensee compliance, royalty management records, royalty reporting and invoicing.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Ensuring cash flow to Nokia by generating accurate royalty invoices and monitoring incoming payments
- Acting as a contact point for our licensees
- “Translating” the legal agreement language into a form understood by Salesforce system
- Ensuring customer compliance as per Nokia’s policies
- Collaborating with other team members and teams in resolving problems and in finding solutions to enhance and automate our processes.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in international business or finance
- Solid Office365 skills (especially MS Excel) and interest in learning to use other systems (e.g. SAP ByD, Salesforce)
- Communication skills, good command of written and spoken English
- Attention to detail and ability to take initiative
- Ability to work independently within agreed targets and sometimes under pressure
- At least a basic understanding of either managing agreements or of patent licensing, or you have previous work experience from finance, possibly with knowledge of SAP systems
