For our regional Services Business Unit, we are looking for an EMEA Power Distribution Solution Sales Manager.
The role is opened remotely for multiple locations in the region, primarily for United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Finland, France and Germany.
Travel rate is up to 40% of the working time.
Primary scope of the role includes:
- Driving business development, ensuring forecast accuracy, and achieving strategic goals by leading key clients through the entire business cycle with a collaborative and inclusive approach
- Managing, growing, and executing on a pipeline of new and existing accounts and opportunities with a relationship-focused mindset
- Developing business plans and strategies to expand service offerings across EMEA, emphasizing empathetic leadership and strategic foresight
- Expanding the Power Distribution Portfolio in the EMEA region through innovative initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner across departments to drive measurable results for the Power Distribution Service Business.
- Identify new service opportunities and lead implementation with Country Sales, Local Service, and EMEA Teams.
- Apply a strategic sales approach to expand reach, strengthen client relationships, and train sales professionals.
- Pursue additional revenue opportunities to help the company achieve her ambitious goals.
- Demonstrate market intelligence: understand the Power Distribution Portfolio, customer buying behavior, and competitive differentiation.
- Maintain a customer-first mindset to navigate complex sales and build relationships with key growth clients.
- Lead Local Power Distribution Service Sales Resources to meet targets and manage sales and marketing activities.
- Drive Trade Sales growth through effective demand and solution-based sales management.
- Launch proactive sales campaigns.
- Evaluate opportunities, conduct risk analysis, and coordinate product/solution development.
- Participate in Service unit performance reviews and gap-closing actions.
- Oversee CRM data analysis for pipeline quality, forecasting, hit rate, and order vs. profit planning.
- Support market-based strategies and growth initiatives with Country Sales, Local Service, and Key Accounts.
- Implement regional service contracts and agreements, ensuring fast customer response.
- Develop and execute growth-focused business strategies with strong customer satisfaction.
- Foster positive client relationships and apply financial techniques to boost revenue.
- Lead and review performance of local Power Distribution Service Sales Resources.
- Conduct customer visits, meetings (online/offline), and site assessments as needed.
- Review customer satisfaction for continuous improvement.
- Build market intelligence to define growth areas and pricing strategies.
- Train sales professionals to enhance PD Service capabilities.
- Attend industry events and stay current on trends and best practices for competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
- Educated at Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or Business.
- Strong experience in Sales and Business Development for Power Distribution products and solutions, with at least 10 years of expertise.
- Skilled in customer negotiations and relationship-building.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing initiatives.
- Experienced in attending exhibitions/conferences and delivering presentations.
- Market and technology savvy, with working knowledge of EMEA trends and competitors.
- Strong communication skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset able to influence stakeholders.
- Capable of leading and managing projects/activities through influence.
- Self-directing and self-motivating.
- An active change agent willing to take appropriate risks.
- A strong sense of urgency.
- Strong customer focus.
- Fluent in English; other EMEA languages are a plus.
