This is a unique opportunity to join an award-winning, fast-growing technology company as Product Owner, IT and Development. Convenient location for this role is Oulu, Finland.
What you’ll do
As a Product Owner in IT and Development, you will play a pivotal role in IT application development, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. You will be responsible for defining product features, prioritizing development tasks, and ensuring that the team delivers high-value solutions aligned with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a clear and compelling product vision.
- Align product goals with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog using Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Ensure backlog items are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development.
- Gather and refine requirements through regular communication with stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates and manage applications throughout the lifecycle.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics.
- Use data insights to inform future development and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
We believe the ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage.
- At least five (5) years of work experience in agile IT application development.
- Understanding of software development principles and application lifecycle.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes and basic UX principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and make decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and business environments.
- Good written and spoken English language skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills with the capability to lead and motivate.
