About the role
As a Lead Electrical Engineer in the Port Cranes unit, you will oversee, guide, and validate the electrical design process while supporting the project team throughout various phases. Your responsibilities include ensuring design quality, managing schedules, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customized solutions to global customers. You will play a key role in ensuring engineering is executed on time and in accordance with specifications and standards.

Work tasks
- Translating technical specifications into engineering tasks
- Ensuring accuracy of electrical design data and documentation
- Leading the projects from handover and design start-up meetings until the delivery
- Supervising and monitoring the progress of electrical design work and project timelines
- Coordinating manufacturing and delivery schedules with the supply chain
- Acting as a key contact for the customers and internal stakeholders
We are looking for
- Strong electrical engineering background
- Relevant study background (preferably in electrical or automation engineering)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and guide designers effectively
- Experience in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or similar systems
- Proven ability to work effectively in a customer-facing role
- Good knowledge of project management and design workflows
- Willingness for international business travel to support manufacturing and commissioning when needed
- Familiarity with design and production planning systems (e.g., E3, Siemens Team Center, SAP)
- Proficiency in English
It is meritorious if you have
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory design position
- Experience with crane systems or similar complex electromechanical products
